Printing via Bluetooth

From version 2.0.31 its possible to print directly to bluetooth printers via JavaScript using a native printer language such as ESC/POS. It is a pro only feature and therefore requires a pro licence or a subscription to remote management.

If you are looking to print via Google Cloud Print please see this article.

You must first pair the bluetooth printer in Android settings and define it as the default within Settings > Bluetooth.

JavaScript Functions

You may use the KBBluetooth namespace when communicating with a bluetooth device, note you can communicate with more than just printers using SPP (serial port profile) over bluetooth. A JavaScript sample written for ESC/POS compatible printers can be found here.

Extensive documentation can be found in our Gitbook here.
