Hi, for some reason if the video screensaver is playing, the kiosk doesn't shutdown at the time required - if you touch the screen the kiosk immediately shuts down, any idea what causes this?

Hi there. Is there a way to open an external application from a webpage?
In particular, we have a link in our web-app from which we need to open the SONOS app.

We have tried the Android.openApplication(packagename) javascript function found in http://www.android-kiosk.com/jstest.htm but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Thank you in advanced for any help,

Chris.-

You need to place images in the kioskbrowser/screensaver folder. Then enable the screensaver in Settings > Display.

Further information is available in the screensaver article.

We have multiple kiosk profiles setup and we have to setup 20 to 50 tablets at a time. We would like to be able to set a default profile or device group for a readonly user. That way when the user is used to register the tablet it will get the appropriate profile for the user installed.

This feature is now live, see the remote management changelog.

In the online tool you show the battery state for the devices. It would be great to see there also the network-quality (GPRS/UMTS/WIFI), so controlling is easier on mobile devices.

I bought the pro version from google play (Australia) as I am using it just on a couple of devices for my family but when I turn off and back on the tablets Kiosk browser doesn't check on google play for the licence so all the settings that are available in the pro version don't apply to the app and I have to go into the settings and click on "get pro" to make it realize I bought the pro version.

Is there any way to fix this? Of course it happens that the tablet runs out of battery and when I restart it the pro features are disabled.
Please, let me know.

Would it be possible to include not only location but also battery percentage in the history?

This feature is now live in the form of a graph. It will take a few hours for statistics to start populating.
