Hello, would it be possible to sync the file groups folder, via an external ftp or domain? Uploading and testing file versions (specially when a huge ammount of files are needed) via the File Group manager, its kind of difficult.
My managed devices are not registered with Google. All required Apps and APK packages (e.g. update to Google Play Services) are sideloaded during commissioning.
Can I remotely push APK files for installation or update?
Sometimes I have a device misbehaving, and it would help a lot if I could have access to more detailed statistics than currently available.
- Network connectivity
- Charger plugged in
- Battery history
I know that the battery history is available, but it's not quite clear what the resolution is, and it seems to be for a very short period. I'd like the things above to be accessible for at least a week, preferably with all data points intact, so I have a chance to dig into them when there's a problem.
In addition, of the device can't report them, I'd like it to store it locally and report them when connectivity is restored.
Also, I'd like the red "Last seen x days ago" to be more specific. Just give me the date and time, it will also help in troubleshooting.
(A bit of background for this request: I recently had a case where a device in a remote location unexpectedly lost connectivity (network provider performed work without notifying us). While being offline somebody managed to pull the plug for the device, and some hours later the battery was dead. Now, as the device was offline, I never got any reports about the power issue. Anyway, after far too long we figured out the problem and got it running again. For the analysis it sure would be great if the device - when being online again - could report on its history so we could find the person who thought it was a great idea to unplug the device.)
It would be great if you could customize the emails that get sent out when a alert is triggered with a custom message.

Hi, I'd like to be able to add additional emails for notifications. Like if the battery is going low or the device is powered off. That way I can send it to not only more than one email for myself but others as well. Thanks
Is there a limit to the number of devices that can be registered for Remote Management during a trial? I have 5 devices setup, and tried to register others, but they don't show up in the Device List.
Alot of our clients will be registering 10 or more devices at a time, this would be far easier if the registration key was shorter or if they could paste the key in from the clipboard. Perhaps in the remote management settings we could set the length of the reg keys we generate with a min character length of course
Is there any way to set wifi settings remotely?
This would be a terrific feature, as sometimes wifi networks change at remote sites, and currently I'd manually have to go to the device (or have it brought to me... but they're mounted semi-permanently) in order to set up the new wifi.
